Learning the reasons that you may feel stuck, sad, anxious or depressed can be extremely liberating.
I was privileged to learn our world by extensive traveling and actually lived in Syria, Switzerland, Belgium, Ukraine, Dubai and Nigeria and worked for several years. With my international mindset as a globe trotter, I visited 47 countries in this world and would love to continue. Don’t let others tell you how amazing the world is, see it for yourself! My heart and passion have resided with psychology ever since I can remember. My passion for helping others, including working with individuals and families, stems from being part of a large family and understanding the importance of support and community. I was born in The United States, where I studied my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Positive Psychology. Alongside my studies, I played volleyball at the highest level. As a student-athlete, I embraced being a team player and the lessons learned from managing your time efficiently between school and sports. After graduating, I explored an area of psychology working with children with autism. This was my first Master's degree (MSc). My interest did not stop there, with the urge to pursue my passion of helping others. I moved to The Netherlands to complete my second Master's Degree, in counseling psychology (MA). I also am registered as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

I was born and raised in Spain, where I studied a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology. Alongside these two and other qualification – including presentation and attendance of conferences – I built up my professional career working in different settings, such as psychological services and associations.
First and foremost, you can expect to be heard and understood on a deep level. The beginning of therapy always consists of developing meaningful, accurate and insightful understandings of the current issues you are facing. This may take some time, as we are profoundly wedded to and soothed by the power of the familiar. Even if it’s good, what is new can be difficult. As an active, involved therapists, our goal is to help you look at your life more clearly, to see how coping patterns and styles of relating to yourself and others were once exactly what you needed in order to survive, but these now hold you back from your present life. Your basic personality will not change, but small, yet extremely meaningful modifications can create an entirely different life without having to create an entirely different person. Getting better, regardless of diagnosis, centers on finding your inner voice, gut reactions, and then learning to follow them in a constructive way.
